The rabbit project is a great way for kids to learn about the responsibilities of caring for an animal. They'll learn how to prepare their rabbits for a show, and also practice the steps for showmanship classes. We'll attend the Santa Barbara Fair & Expo, the Santa Barbara County Fair, plus local 4-H Fun Days and open rabbit shows.

Replacement Heifer, Heifer Reproduction, Steer
Breeding Beef Cattle, Registered Bulls, Grade or Cross-bred Beef

New Project: Heifer Reproduction. This is a new project we will be offering for our members that have heifers or cows they need to breed, or for those that are interested in teh process. It will focus on the process of artificial insemination and other aspects of bovine reproduction. Members must keep a log and workshops are mandatory.

September: First Club meeting September 14th @ 7:00pm
October: Beef project meeting will be held after the Club meeting October 5th.

The poultry project is a great project for the kids to learn showmanship and how to care for and take responsibility for an animal. It's also a great starting project (clover buds) since the animals aren't that big. Our group will attend the Santa Barbara Fair and Expo, Exhibit Day, and the Santa Barbara County Fair.
