The rabbit project is a great way for kids to learn about the responsibilities of caring for an animal. They'll learn how to prepare their rabbits for a show, and also practice the steps for showmanship classes. We'll attend the Santa Barbara Fair & Expo, the Santa Barbara County Fair, plus local 4-H Fun Days and open rabbit shows. |

The poultry project is a great project for the kids to learn showmanship and how to care for and take responsibility for an animal. It's also a great starting project (clover buds) since the animals aren't that big. Our group will attend the Santa Barbara Fair and Expo, Exhibit Day, and the Santa Barbara County Fair. 3/18/10
Hi
everyone. How are the turkeys doing? With the weather being so nice and
warm the turkeys can go with out a light during the day, but will still
need it on at night and early morning. They should be getting pretty big
so it's fine to move them to a bigger pen, just make sure you can still
have the heat lamp on at night. Please call me if you have any questions
or concerns #350-0932. Also, how's eveyone doing on their demonstration?
